TYSON GUNDERSEN, DMD

Dr. Tyson Gundersen graduated from Oregon Health and Science University School of Dentistry. During his studies, Dr. Gundersen was selected to participate in honors endodontics and honors orthodontics and clinical hypnosis courses. Outside of his coursework, he spent much of his time engaged in community outreach programs such as Celebration of Smiles, Give Kids a Smile and Medical Teams International, where he provided complimentary dental services to underserved children and adults in the Portland, Oregon, area.

Dr. Gundersen has an instilled commitment to continuing education, as well as a commitment to understanding and building his knowledge on cutting-edge dental technology. He enjoys working with patients to understand and respond to their specific needs and feels that there is nothing more important than providing the highest quality of individualized care.

Born and raised in southeast Idaho, Dr. Gundersen established a great love of the outdoors. He strongly believes in the principles taught by the Boy Scouts of America and has served as assistant leader and leader for the youth-based organization and even earned the highest honor of an Eagle Scout Award. When he is not at work, Dr. Gundersen enjoys fishing, camping, hiking, hunting and spending quality time with his wife, Brendie, and five kids: Hank, Luke, Jack, Jane and Rhett.
